Season 1 champions 1337HUANIA announce their Season 3 roster
It’s been three weeks already since we announced BESL Pro Season 3 with its main topic of interest being the new regular season format that’s going to change the whole competition upside down as it is quite the opposite of what we’ve done until now.
Teams like wolsung, OnlineBOTS, Esi Pirmais eSports, ayned, alltheRAGE and dogmen have already announced their rosters for the upcoming season and now it’s time for the Season 1 champions and Season 2 LAN finalists 1337HUANIA to follow suit!
The guys from 1337HUANIA are going to be led by their fearless captain Carcass who has once again seemingly assembled a roster fierce enough to compete with the best teams in our region with the goal obviously being to reach the LAN finals for the third time in a row.
Teams roster, however, has been revamped as players like Aikas and Boo joined team dogmen (ex-Žalgiris), while LaimB is seemingly set to take part in the open qualifiers with a new bunch of players.
To fill in the three open spaces joining the team are players such as pounh, lukkjE and Hype - a trio of very experienced and talented players. Team’s captain Carcass has also hinted that we might see Winstrike player Kvik subbing for them this season in case any of the players are not available for a game.
“During the off-season we were forced to make changes to our roster as Aikas, Butters and LaimB went to other teams. So to fill in the gaps we brought in pounh, lukjjE and hype - all very well known players in our region. Additionally, Kvik has agreed to be our 6th man in case we need a substitution during the season.
A thing to note here is that we’re in no way a real team rather than just a group of friends playing this competition for fun. And no, that doesn’t mean that we’re not going to take this event seriously. We’re definitely going to give it our best, because we expect to reach the LAN finals. Though, with seeing how Baltic region is growing, we can’t underestimate anyone as there are so many good and talented players out there right now. I really hope that we’ll be able to put our mindsets and gameplan together and be the best mix team here this season!”

As previously mentioned, Carcass has had plenty of success with his squad in our competition. In the first season of our league 1337HUANIA went all the way to lift the trophy and earn the title of being the best team in Baltics at the time. However, in the second season Lithuanians were not so successful as they were stopped in the semi-finals by the eventual champions wolsung with a scoreline of 0-2, thus placing in 3rd-4th.
BESL Pro Season 3 is set to start on 1st of April with sixteen best Baltic state teams battling it out for the prize pool of €9,000. More details can be found in the BESL Pro Season 3 announcement.
