Defending champions wolsung announce their Season 3 roster

On Monday we launched BESL Pro Season 3 with its main topic of interest being the new regular season format that’s going to change the whole competition upside down as it is quite the opposite of what we’ve done until now.

With the announcement of the newest iteration of our competition, it did not take long for the defending champions of BESL Pro, namely wolsung, to announce their roster for the upcoming season of Baltic eSports League.

The roster sees a minor change as one of their last season’s best clutch players krii has departed the team in order to play the competition with his full time squad Smoke Criminals. Losing such a player is never easy, but wolsung have seemingly found a respectable replacement by adding another pro100 member to the roster - Flarich.

“The key thing about wolsung mix-team that differentiates us from any other BESL Pro team is that we are like a small family. Everyone here is satisfied with their role and we get along quite nicely. With that being said, though, this off-season we were forced to do a roster change as krii had decided to compete at BESL Pro with his actual team Smoke Criminals. Krii was the guy that had the ability to win ridiculous clutch situation by himself while making it look easy, and while it is hard to lose such a player, I think that Flarich will fit perfectly in krii's shoes as he is also a very clutch player with huge experience playing in CIS region.”

With this change wolsung’s Season 3 roster looks as following:

The player to watch here is the youngster broky, who is still to this day the only Latvian player that has reached FACEIT Pro League (FPL) and has most recently signed with Epsilon.

Team wolsung won the last season’s competition by taking down the Estonian giants XGR eSports in the grand finals with a scoreline of 2-0 (19:15 train, 16:10 mirage), thus becoming the champions of BESL Pro Season 2.

BESL Pro Season 3 is set to start on 1st of April with sixteen best Baltic state teams battling it out for the prize pool of €9,000. More details can be found in the BESL Pro Season 3 announcement.
