zteeek & co return to Season 3 under a new name

On Monday we launched BESL Pro Season 3 with its main topic of interest being the new regular season format that’s going to change the whole competition upside down as it is quite the opposite of what we’ve done until now.

The first team to quickly announce their roster for the upcoming season were the defending champions wolsung, who are now followed up by another veteran squad of BESL Pro competitions - the Estonians led by zteeek.

Up until now, zteeek’s teams have a flawless record of reaching LAN finals as he managed to do so in Season 1 under WORTEX tag, while doing it once again under the tag of AUTOCLUTCH (later WORTEX in the LAN finals) the season after.

The Estonian squad has opted to stick together with the same roster that they had in the previous season and this time around they’re going to be playing under the famous Estonian tag of OnlineBOTS.

“After the second season ended we decided to stay together and play as an actual team to see if we could go anywhere. After a lot of ups and downs and trying other players we decided the best thing in the end was to stay the same and just continue practicing. Now coming into the third season we are really confident that we could do more damage than we did last season and get a better result overall”

The complete roster of OnlineBOTS for Season 3 looks as following:

As previously mentioned, zteeek has led his squads to LAN finals two times before. In Season 1 his team WORTEX suffered a 0-2 defeat (12:16 overpass, 6:16 mirage) in the semi-finals against Latvians of SkinLordz, while Season 2 finals saw zteeek & co once again exiting the event in the 3rd-4th place after a 1-2 loss (16:13 dust2, 12:16 train, 5:16 dust2) against their countrymen of XGR eSports.

BESL Pro Season 3 is set to start on 1st of April with sixteen best Baltic state teams battling it out for the prize pool of €9,000. More details can be found in the BESL Pro Season 3 announcement.
