WASD, FiGURE05 & MightyWolves earn their first victories
The first day of the BESL Pro Season 2 has concluded with WASD Sports, FiGURE05 and MightyWolves opening things up with victories over ayned, Aston eSports and AUTOCLUTCH respectively.
WASD Sports vs ayned

The opening game of BESL Pro S2 was very one sided as the season 1 regular season champions WASD Sports crushed their countrymen on inferno. An insult to injury added the fact that after starting off the game with a won pistol round by ayned, Dodz and his colleagues were quick to respond by taking the second round...and the half with a scoreline 12 to 3! At that point it was pretty inevitable that WASD Sports are going to start the season of with a victory!

The second game of the night was a bit closer! Season 1 NotLikeThis player eimaNt was starting his Season 2 journey with his new teammates of FiGURE05 against a group of young and yet to be established Latvian players of Aston eSports. While the game started out slow with it seemingly being very close, the Lithuanians were the ones that pulled ahead at the end of the first half. After switching the sides, Aston eSports started to mount a comeback, but Lithuanians were once again quick to adjust shutting down the Latvians and taking their first victory of this season!
“FiGURE05 started off strong against Aston eSports and were skilled enough to hold the lead all throughout the game despite them actually having some troubles closing it out. Going into this game I was actually expecting a bit more from Aston eSports, but they just didn’t show up!”
MightyWolves vs AUTOCLUTCH

The last game of the night was the one everyone was waiting for! Labeled as one of the three Match of the Week games by our head admin Gekons, this duel definitely delivered!
AUTOCLUTCH came out guns blazing as they took the initial pistol round and were quick to convert the 2 bonus round plus the first buy round in their favor resulting a 4-0 start for the Estonians. At that point things were definitely starting to look a bit grim for MightyWolves, but they were not ready to give up just yet. Round by round, play by play, they came back to equalize the scoreline going into the halftime (8-7 in favor of AUTOCLUTCH).
On the 2nd pistol round it seemed like AUTOCLUTCH were eager to once again take the control of the game, but they were instantly shot down by d3k who began the second half with an amazing pistol ace. As the half progressed the storyline remained the same - both teams were trading blows left and right until it all came down to the very last round where MightyWolves were the ones claiming their first victory in the second season of BESL Pro!
After the game MightyWolves sniper Emis2 gave us the following statement:
“After seeing the roster of our opponents, we understood that this is not going to be an easy game. A few good plays from both teams made the game very close, which it should’ve been. I’m happy that in the end the game went our way and hope that AUTOCLUTCH will be able to keep putting up these kind of performances later in the season!”
