WASD Sports, 1337HUANIA & MightyWolves earn victories
As the third day of the first week concludes, WASD Sports, 1337HUANIA and MightyWolves are the teams that earn victories over wolsung, SkinLordz and Žalgiris respectively.

Named as the Match of the Week by our caster Renārs “Veneficus” Šēnfelds the first game of the evening was a real treat for our viewers!
It all started with Latvians of wolsung quickly establishing a 5:1 lead only to be tied by WASD Sports shortly after (5:5). Teams kept going back and forth with taking the rounds ending in a 7:8 half in favor of the Estonians. The second half was once again started better by wolsung as they took the pistol round (8:8), but this time around Estonians were a lot quicker to respond by taking the second force buy round and 5 more rounds in a row making it a somewhat comfortable 8:14 lead for them.
But, as our caster Renārs “Veneficus” Šēnfelds previously stated “..when it comes to wolsung it's not over until it's over!” and this once again proved to be the point as Latvians started to slowly but surely climb their way back into the game ending in a tied 15:15 game across the board. During the overtime wolsung won the first half 2:1 in their favor (17:16), but then once again were stopped by the crushing double-AWP setup of sperr and Dodz who secured their team a victory with taking all the 3 remaining round in a row!
“If you didn't see this match, you haven't seen anything at all! So many crazy twists, adjustments and, dare I say, overall, a showmatch between two teams that know how things should be done ,but WASD sports being the ones who show how it needs to be done in the end! Definitely a well deserved overtime victory that I'm looking forward to seeing again in the finals, or close to them!”

The second game of the evening was an unexpected blowout to say the least! Being labeled as his Match of the Week by our caster Renārs “Emvy” Dzintars it definitely did not deliver at all! Although this indeed was the rematch of the last season’ Grand Final we witnessed in Riga, this time around the game was not as close as it was the last time around!
From the very beginning of the game, 1337HUANIA guys were just dominating all over the place with SkinLordz trying their best to find a solution, but with no luck! At the scoreline of 12:1 in the favor of Lithuanians, our caster Renārs “Veneficus” Šēnfelds was already pretty convinced that there is no way Latvians are going to get back into this game. And indeed they weren’t, as the game kept going in the same trajectory as before with 1337HUANIA once again taking a W against the guys of SkinLordz.
MightyWolves vs Žalgiris

The third, last game of the evening on our stream was also an interesting one as both of the teams earned their first victories in this season earlier this week and were now looking to prolong their winning streaks!
The game started off with a convincing 3:0 by MightyWolves followed up by powerful buy round CT holds of Žalgiris making it a 3:5 in favor of Lithuanians. While at that point it seemed like Lithuanians are starting run away with the game, MightyWolves pulled out their T side strat-book and once again took over the lead finishing the half 9:6 in their favor.
After the side switch Žalgiris started to mount a comeback and it was pretty clear that this game is going to end with a bang. In the end though, all that the Latvians really needed on their CT side to close out the game was weapons and a good economy, and with both of those things in place, they took home the second victory this week!
“Wow, what an emotional rollercoaster this game was! Both teams were playing such a great game of CS and till the very end of the game it seemed like it was truly anyone’s game to take. Though, at the scoreline 10:10 MightyWolves switched into the next gear leaving Žalgiris players and their coach (Undercover) with no real solutions to the problem. Latvians really showed us what they are made of here, bravo!”
