*Match of the Week

This season the Match of the Week (MOTW) games are picked by our casters and head admin. Every single one of them will pick one match that sticks out the most in their eyes and give their reasoning of why You should not miss it! Here are their picks for this week’s MOTW games:

“My Match of the Week this time around is going to be the all-Latvian duel between wolsung and MightyWolves (17.09 22:00). Even though MightyWolves did have a roster change and they are playing this season out with Flarich, they still looked pretty good as took 1 point away from 1337HUANIA last week. Will the new addition be enough to beat wolsung though? That’s the real question! It is going to be tough, that is for sure, and looking back at all the time when these teams met in GOEXANIMO events it has always gone wolsung’s way. Nevertheless - this is another chance to prove that MightyWolves are the best team in Latvia!”

Renārs “Emvy” Dzintars

SkinLordz vs WASD Sports is my week 6 Match of the Week! Yes, you read that correctly! The match (in theory) should be a one-sided beating in favor of WASD Sports giving SkinLordz another one of those wake-up calls that they should start representing themselves to their appropriate level and true potential. On the other hand though, I can also see a world where SkinLordz actually manage to put up a decent fight as they still are the vice champions of Season 1. Will it be possible without prelideN in their roster? And can they do it on a map that is not their home turf in form of mirage? Will this be a schooling or a brawl? Find out on Tuesday at 21:00!”

Renārs “Veneficus” Šēnfelds

“For my week 6 MOTW game I’m picking the stand-off between two of the best teams in Lithuania currently - Žalgiris vs 1337HUANIA (17.09 20:00). Week after week we have seen the gap between the top teams of our league slowly but surely closing in as showcased by Žalgiris last week’s 14:16 loss to wolsung and 1337HUANIA’s 19:15 overtime victory over MightyWolves. All of these teams are as close as they ever be, because everyone knows that these last few weeks are the last chance to either hold on to or earn a spot in the top 4 and thus the LAN finals in Tallinn! I personally feel like this is going to be a good one as Žalgiris have been on the upswing while 1337HUANIA do not look as undefeatable as they should have to call this their game, so all that is left is to tune in on Monday to see who wants it more!”
