Week 6 continues with ayned, WASD Sports & AUTOCLUTCH being victorious
The second game day of week 6 is done and dusted as ayned earned their second victory this week by defeating Žalgiris, WASD Sports completely and utterly demolished SkinLordz, and AUTOCLUTCH furthermore established their spot in the top 4 with a victory against Latvians of Aston eSports!

Žalgiris

The first game of the evening on mirage kicked off with ayned just casually walking out into A site putting down the bomb and thus setting up a very weird 5v5 after-plant situation that did go in their favor as critu and tul1p completely picked apart CT’s when they tried to retake the site (1:0). Žalgiris couldn't get on the scoreboard until the fourth round (3:1) and even when they did take two round in a row (3:2), ayned were quick to respond with three of their own (6:2).
The half continued in a similar manner with ayned being dominant, but Žalgiris managed to party climb back finishing the half 9:6 behind. Even though Lithuanians opened up the second half with taking the pistol round and two consecutive round (9:9), ayned once again turned on their dominance taking round after round afterwards.
Although Žalgiris tried their hardest to once again mount a comeback, few crucial plays denied them the pleasure of doing so. First it was Abyssal who’s well-timed play in jungle area shut down Lithuanian attempt to split A (10:9), while afterwards it was zfx who’s relentless aggression pushing A slope led them to finding the bomb not once (13:9), but two times (15:9) essentially killing all the hopes Žalgiris had (16:9).
SkinLordz vs WASD Sports

The second game of the evening was set to take place on dust2 where WASD Sports turned up on their A-game after suffering a close 3-map loss in their Thunderpick Invitational game just minutes before.
Right from the get-go Estonian side dominated all around the map! From a team ace in the first pistol round on the CT side (0:1) to shokz bringing back a 4v2 situation in the following round (0:2). From sperr cleaning up eco frags (0:3) to shokz once again being on point in a clutch situation (0:4).
Estonians kept playing aggressively all over the map even going as far as Dodz pushing lower tunnels with his AWP to find the opening kills (0:6), while two rounds later sperr did the exact same thing (0:8). Even when SkinLordz tried to go for a pace changer with a rush towards B they were once again shut down as sperr and shokz cleaned them up (0:9).
Game continued with Latvians not being able to find any answers to the Estonian aggression and while they did find success on the second pistol round (2:14), it was a false hope as WASD Sports took the two following rounds closing out the game 2:16 in their favor.
“Well, well, well...my hard working SkinLordz friends got exactly what the doctor ordered! As always, WASD Sports turned up with a dominant performance and although initially it looked promising for SkinLordz in terms of fire-power, it all went south when shokz was able to kill all the four SkinLordz’s players on the B site with 11hp! With that pandora's box was open and from that point onwards pretty much every engagement went WASD Sports’ way! That. Is. How. You. Need. To. Play. Skin. Lordz. *blows season 1 vice champion dust off the server*”
AUTOCLUTCH vs Aston eSports

The last and final game of the evening on inferno began with Aston eSports coming in hot as they secured the first six rounds on their T side (0:6). In the 7th round AUTOCLUTCH got their first round-win as HS, who was standing-in for PhilEba, dominated Aston eSports’ players on B site even before the bomb being planted (1:6).
From that point onwards teams started trading rounds. HS won a 1v1 clutch with his impression of ‘pros don’t fake’ (3:6) while Aston eSports answered back with Zvede out-playing zteeek in a 1v1 after-plant situation (3:7) and Henča picking up a 4k to win another one (3:8).
The half was then finished off with DoisTa getting three kills through smoke (7:8) and although Aston eSports did win the half, it was still a pretty good comeback from the Estonian side knowing that they were six rounds down at the start of the half,
Now playing on the T side, AUTOCLUTCH took control of the game as they completely outplayed Aston eSports in the pistol round by rushing towards B while the bomb was going A (8:8).
A play like that indicated that AUTOCLUTCH were ready to prove that they are a level above their opponents and that indeed was the case. Estonian side kept changing both the pace of their approach and the side they went towards in the following rounds completely catching Latvians off-guard and eventually coming across that 16th round to finish off the game 16:9.
