Aston eSports vs NotLikeThis

Gametime: 19th of September, 20:00
Result: 5:16 on de_mirage

MVP: christian8 - 19 kills, 18 deaths, 110 ADR

VOD: here!

The first match of the evening between Aston eSports and NotLikeThis began on mirage with Lithuanian side taking the T side pistol round after a fast push towards B (0:1). After the eco rounds (0:3) Latvians answered back with a strong B side hold (1:3), but NotLikeThis had already built up their bank and their 5th round buy broke Latvian side (1:4) forcing them to eco once again.

Lithuanians proceeded with completely taking over the game as they went on a whopping eight round win-streak (1:11) eventually ending the half 2:13 in their favor. Literally everyone on NotLikeThisside chipped in with frags every single round as Dreamas and his colleague kept racking up rounds one after the other seemingly making it look like a walk in the park for them.

In the second half, Latvians got things started with a won pistol round 2v1 clutch by christian8 and Zvede giving themselves hopes of this game not being over yet. Latvians went on to secure the following two anti-ecos (5:13), but, the first gun round and the two following rounds went NotLikeThisway as they once again worked together to successfully out-duel their opponents (5:16).

SkinLordz.RED vs eustonia

Gametime: 19th of September,  21:00
Result: 7:16 on de_cache

MVP: EscapeR - 29 kills, 9 deaths, 114 ADR

VOD: here!

The game on cache began with a 3v2 after-plant victory on A site that kicked off SkinLordz.RED’s T side (1:0). While Latvians proceeded with clenching the four consecutive rounds afterwards (5:0) they were still pretty close. In one of them eustonia player RSKaaarel almost brought back a seemingly unwinnable 4v1 situation, but fell short in the end as LiTERjACK out-dueled him.

In the 6th round eustonia brought out the double awp setup that finally gave them the upper hand winning three rounds in a row (5:3). ELVISG then responded with a racking up four kills in the 9th round thus bringing back the momentum for the Latvian side (6:3).

At that point Estonians started approaching the game differently putting more emphasis on the aggressive plays. A simple push in A main in the 9th round started a snowball effect that saw eustonia taking the six remaining rounds in the first half (6:9).

The second half on cache continued in the same manner. Eustonia kept dominating all around the map with their momentum snowballing as the rounds went by. Seven out of the next eight rounds went their way as they closed out the game 7:16 in their favor including EscapeR winning a crucial clutch with his AWP.

MightyWolves vs SkinLordz

Gametime: 19th of September,  22:00
Result: 11:16 on de_inferno

MVP: discplex - 24 kills, 15 deaths, 99 ADR

VOD: here!

The final match of the evening began with SkinLordz starting their T side on inferno with a quick swipe towards A side (0:1) while also finding success in the four rounds afterwards (0:5). MightyWolves answered back finding their first (1:5), but SkinLordz were quick to shut their economy down as they once again took the initiative of the game (1:6).

SkinLordz continued outplaying MightyWolves in the next five rounds (1:11) by playing smartly all around the map and forcing out unnecessary rotations from the wolves. MightyWolves then brought out the double AWP and it paid dividends. Wolves found success in the remaining three rounds of the first half closing it out 4:11 behind.

MightyWolves kept rolling in the second half as well. Pistol round blunder ended with keen finding three crucial kills to restore faith in his team winning the game (5:11). After the eco rounds (7:11) SkinLordz took back the game under their control. They won one round (7:12), lost the other (8:12), while then reset their opponents with a force buy victory (8:13)

After that game went in SkinLordz way and despite MightyWolves trying their best to stay alive in the game by taking three more rounds, it was not enough to keep SkinLordz away from finding the remaining three that they needed to take the victory (11:16).

Additionally to the games mentioned above, there was also one game that was not featured on our YouTube channel on Wednesday, and it was played off-stream:
