*Match of the Week

This season the Match of the Week (MOTW) games are picked by our casters and head admin. Every single one of them will pick one match that sticks out the most in their eyes and give their reasoning of why You should not miss it! Here are their picks for this week’s MOTW games:

“For me, the most interesting game of this week is clearly wolsung vs AUTOCLUTCH (27.09. 21:00). The battle between the current 3rd and 4th place teams is going to be an epic one as it has a huge impact on the standings that we’re gonna see at the end of week 8. Both of the teams have been very convincing in the past few weeks, while actually playing few of their games with substitute players. However, if both of the teams turn up with their real rosters, then we definitely have a game on our hands. AUTOCLUCH, known as WORTEX in the previous season, are clearly looking to once again squeeze into that top 4, while for wolsung guys it looks to be unlikely that we won’t see them in Tallinn if they keep up the form they are playing in. Though this is just a speculation, the answer will come on Thursday!”

Renārs “Emvy” Dzintars

“My week 7 Match of the Week is NotLikeThis vs MightyWolves (26.09 22:00). NotLikeThis have had both good and bad results against the top teams of BESL Pro. While they did upset WASD Sports, they also failed to overcome 1337HUANIA. Now, it’s time for MightyWolves. Considering Latvian side’s mixed results NotLikeThis will surely have an opportunity to sneak in a win here and potentially lock MightyWolves out of the top 4. Though, as seen in the past, we should never count out MightyWolves. Veto is going to be crucial here and I hope to see a map that is going to be a surprise for both us the casters and the viewers. Make sure you tune in on Tuesday for the last match of the day to be a witness of something you don't want to miss!”

Renārs “Veneficus” Šēnfelds

“For week 7 I’m going to choose the game that is happening on Tuesday 20:00 as my Match of the Week - AUTOCLUTCH against SkinLordz. While Estonians are once again surprising everyone with their solid form and good results currently sitting in the #4 of our standings, they are yet to play their most important games of this season (yet to play wolsung, SkinLordz & 1337HUANIA). Seeing the list of opponents yet to come it’s somewhat clear that they are far from being safe in the LAN finals bubble. As for Latvians of SkinLordz - even though they are currently sitting in the #8 spot, which is really low for runner-up’s of Season 1 in my opinion, they have still managed to show some signs of high level CS in the past few games we have seen. The funny thing is - Latvians can’t qualify for LAN finals anymore, but they can definitely put their foot in front of someone who can!”
