SkinLordz overcome Aston eSports; eustonia victorious over ESCELTIC
The last, final game day that was broadcast this week has concluded with SkinLordz earning their second victory this season against their fellow Latvians of Aston eSports, while eustonia managed to successfully claim their third win this season by defeating ESCELTIC in a nail-biting overtime game!

Aston eSports vs SkinLordz

The game between two Latvian teams on Thursday evening started off with SkinLordz taking the first two rounds (0:2) only to then run into a B site pistol stack of Aston eSports that ended up with Henča finishing off the last two SkinLordz players to claim the round! Going forwards though, SkinLordz were quick to answer back as udrizw0w opened up the A site with two quick deagle shots, thus giving his team the upper hand in the situation as that resulted in a bomb plant and a round won.From there on out it was all about SkinLordz as Aston eSports, as hard as they tried, only managed to pull together four rounds on their CT side (4:11).
Upon the side switch though, the fiasco continued as SkinLordz took the pistol round (4:12) only to then be shut down by a pistol force buy round towards B by Aston eSports (5:12). And yes, you guessed that one right! Afterwards SkinLordz once again replied with their own pistol force but round victory (5:13) as prelideN managed to lurk all the way around the map in order to kill his opponents from behind (including a knife kill)! The game then continued in a similar path as teams traded rounds, but it was only a matter of time until SkinLordz took their 16th!
“SkinLordz fighting against Aston eSports on a map that could, to a certain degree, be considered as their home territory was a good showcase of their individual abilities! As predicted, they managed to secure a somewhat convincing victory with Aston eSports scoring a few solid rounds of their own. Overall - although this was a good game for SkinLordz, their results are still miles behind of those that we saw in the previous season and there surely still is a big mountain to climb for the runners-up of Season 1!”
eustonia vs ESCELTIC

The second game of the evening was a roller-coaster to say the least! ESCELTIC successfully started off the game with taking the first three round lead (0:3), but once eustonia got to the big guns they were all but ready to muster a reply as they took four rounds in a row (4:3). After that though, it was all she wrote for eustonia on their CT side as ESCELTIC suddenly just shifted into a higher gear taking an astonishing eight rounds in a row to finish off the half 4:11 in their favor!
After teams switched sides it did not go as planned for the Latvians as they took the pistol round (4:12) only to then be crushed by pistol force buy of eustonia. Little did ESCELTIC know that that was the start of eustonia’s come-back as they themselves started to string rounds together one after the other and seemingly in a blink of an eye the teams were already tied up 15:15 after all the 30 regulation rounds had been played. As teams entered overtime, eustonia kept on doing their thing and with no resistance whatsoever, they claimed their third victory this season!
“Well...I think this one settles it - eustonia truly are this season’s overtime kings as they have had 5 overtimes in the 6 games they have played winning 3 of them! This game was no different from the rest of their games, though the comeback they pulled off was truly unexpected! Sadly enough, seems like Latvian teams are always struggling to close out games as ESCELTIC were even up 4:11 after the first half, but still managed to lose it. Props to Gaborik and devour as well for the amazing individual plays showcased in this match!”
