NotLikeThis, 1337HUANIA and AUTOCLUTCH start off week 2 with victories
The second week of BESL Pro Season 2 is already in the makings as yesterday we saw a full day of one-sided Counter-Strike - NotLikeThis managed a huge upset over WASD Sports, the defending champions 1337HUANIA continued to perform with a victory over Aston eSports, and AUTOCLUTCH took home their second W of this season against ESCELTIC!

The first game of the evening saw Lithuanians of NotLikeThis making the biggest upset in this season of BESL Pro so far as they took down the Season 1 regular season winners WASD Sports in a pretty one-sided battle! The game started out like any other WASD Sports game with Estonians taking the pistol round and the 2 consecutive rounds...but then, everything suddenly changed! As soon as NotLikeThis bought their first AK’s they just started rolling over WASD Sports with Estonians looking a bit confused as to how to stop them. The game went in the same trajectory after teams swapped the sides at 10:5 scoreline in favor of NotLikeThis as they just kept on going eventually finishing off the game 16:5 in their favor!
“Okay….I’m completely speechless about this game! It’s one thing if NotLikeThis played their hearts out and managed to upset WASD Sports in a close battle, but this was just something else! Lithuanians completely demolished WASD Sports on one of their home maps. I have literally never seen Estonians crumble like this before. Definitely huge props to NotLikeThis for pulling off an upset like this!”

The second game of the evening followed in the same footsteps as the first one! The game started off with 1337HUANIA taking the first three rounds (3:0) followed up by Aston eSports quickly replying with a victory in the first gun round (3:1). As much as that one round might have given hope to both the viewers and Aston eSports players themselves, it was a false one as 1337HUANIA once again proved that they are here to dominate their opponents as they finished off the first half with a scoreline of 12:3 in their favor. Although Aston eSports did start off the second half with a pistol round victory, 1337HUANIA experienced showed in the second, force buy round as they found the perfect hole in Latvian defense to abuse! After that it was only a matter of time till Lithuanians squeezed out their last few round wins to come out victorious once again.
“If I had to describe this game in a few words, I would say - an excellent hold from 1337HUANIA! These guys just displayed such a calm and collected approach to their CT side thus dominating all around the map, while leaving Aston eSports with no answers! Want to learn CT side on nuke? The last game of the evening was another one-sided affair as AUTOCLUTCH, after a victorious knife round, decided to start on CT which just proved to be their bread and butter. Estonians ran away with the half pretty quickly, leaving the guys of ESCELTIC with just a vivid memory of how it felt to be demolished on T side train. After the side switch AUTOCLUTCH made the final flow to their opponents and closed out the game with a big W!
After the game AUTOCLUTCH captain zteeek gave us the following statement:
“Going into the game we didn't know how to feel because of our mixed results here in the second season with the new lineup so far, but we knew that we were the better team in the server. Thankfully everyone was on point and we managed to lockdown the CT side pretty convincingly (12:3 in our favor). On T side we just won the pistol and it was already 13:3, and at that point enemy had almost no chance to come back in this game. Overall I’m really happy with the result and we have to keep up these kind of strong performance if we don't want to miss this season's LAN finals!”
