The match of the week series began on mirage, a map that was chosen by Team Titan. As teams hopped into the game, WORTEX chose to start on CT side, which proved to be the right decision as their victory in the first pistol round was quickly converted to a 4:0 lead. With a start like that it seemed like Estonians are gonna run away with a quick map one victory here and take things to their own map pick of Train. But, luckily for our viewers, that was not the case! Latvians started fighting back. Rounds went back and forth, and in the end Team Titan managed to squeeze out a pretty solid 8:7 first half as Terrorists. Upon the side switch, though, WORTEX once again started banging out round wins one after the other and while Team Titan did their best to fight back, scoring a couple of rounds here and there, it was only a matter of time before WORTEX prevailed closing out the first map of mirage with a 16:10 scoreline.
Next up was train - the map that was chosen by WORTEX. Estonians once again opened up with an early lead of 2:0, but this time around, Team Titan bounced back a bit quicker, making it an even game six rounds in (3:3). An equal start like that was the perfect continuation for map one as this gave us the notion that Team Titan are here to fight back. Yet, couple more rounds passed and once more Latvians just couldn’t keep up with the performance that Estonians showed. In the end, this lead to a pretty dominanty 10:5 T side half win for WORTEX and upon side switch the story repeated itself. Estonians with a victory in pistol round, Team Titan showing character for few rounds managing to score couple of wins here and there, and, WORTEX eventually closing out the game, and the series, with a 16:8 victory on their map pick of train.
The victory here moves Estonians of WORTEX up to 1-1 pool of teams for week 3 of our competition, while on the other hand Team Titan now boast a win-loss record of 0-2, and one more defeat will eliminated them from the third season of BESL Pro.
