FiGURE05 vs WASD Sports

Gametime: 27th of September, 20:00
Result: 17:19 on de_overpass

MVP: Dodz - 37 kills, 26 deaths, 118 ADR

VOD: here!

WASD Sports kicked off the game with a victorious CT pistol round that saw sperr and shokz managing to bring back 3v2 post-plant situation on the A bombsite. A hilariously misplayed situation in the first gun round by FiGURE05 quickly gave Estonians the 0:5 lead.

Lithuanians answered back with spark (substitute for jL-) getting a triple kill securing them their first round (1:5) and with all the rounds be really close WASD Sports were forced to eco (2:5). Once again getting their hands on rifles, Estonians started to play more aggressively, but FiGURE05’s ability to squeeze in rounds in between gave them numerous chances to play against pistols ending the half at a 5:10 scoreline.

Now playing on the CT side, FiGURE05 quickly picked up the pace as they swiftly took the pistol round and four more rounds making the game all tied up (10:10). WASD Sports started answering back, but Lithuanians were just not giving up. Teams traded the next ten rounds (15:15) including an insane spray transfer from wave and cho mowing down four players, but not winning the round as Dodz brought back the 5v1 situation in a spectacular manner!

Coming into the overtime FiGURE05 took two CT rounds on the first half (17:16), but as soon as WASD Sports switched to the defense they showed their true colors winning all three rounds in a row to close out the game 17:19 in their favor.

AUTOCLUTCH vs wolsung

Gametime: 27th of September,  21:00
Result: 4:16 on de_mirage

MVP: krii - 22 kills, 9 deaths, 104 ADR

VOD: here!

The game on mirage kicked off with krii going ham on B site to deny AUTOCLUTCH an entry into the site. After that things got out of control pretty rapidly as wolsung started racking up rounds one after the other with players having a highlight all over the place.

From YEKINDAR doing his best janitor impression to clean up the eco kills on A bombsite to him knifing Sickta in the 6th round. From HS, who was standing-in for Whiskas, showcasing his ability to control the spray of an AK to YEKINDAR once again playing with a knife and stabbing Ph1lEba in the back!

At that point Latvians were already in the lead with a scoreline of 0:7, and while it seemed that they could maybe take the foot of the pedal, they pushed the limits even further. In the following round YEKINDAR got an ace and few rounds later krii single-handedly won a 2v2 clutch. The half ended with more than just comfortable lead for wolsung (1:14).

Estonians gave themselves a sliver of a chance by winning the second pistol round and the two consecutive rounds (4:14). That was, however, where AUTOCLUTCH’s hopes ended, as Latvians clinched their 15th round with A site split tactic and finished off the game with broky winning a 3v1 clutch situation (4:16).

“I said that this match will set the theme for the LAN finals, but I honestly hope that it doesn’t, because wolsung made this one-sided! It really felt like they just finished of a deathmatch marathon, because they were just unstoppable. If they will play like this in the finals then we’re definitely going to have top notch games in Tallinn. As for AUTOCLUTCH - I hope they will practice for the finals, because at the moment they seem like a punching bag for the other top 4 teams.”

FiGURE05 vs ayned

Gametime: 27th of September,  22:00
Result: 15:19 on de_cache

MVP: wave - 33 kills, 26 deaths, 104 ADR

VOD: here!

The last and final game of the Thursday evening started off with a bang! Estonians of ayned picked up the momentum early on as T’s, grabbing the pistol round and quickly snowballing into a 0:9 lead with bunch of close situation going their way.

A ballsy play from wave going straight for the defuse in a 1v1 situation gave FiGURE05 their first round (1:9) and the momentum to finish off the half 5:10 including two more clutch round victories by Kajic (winning 2v1) and cho (wins 2v2 by himself).

The second half quickly turned into a blunder of a game. FiGURE05 took the pistol round and turned the tides around making the game all tied up (10:10), but, similarly to the first game of the evening, ayned started answering back making the game ever more so interesting.

At the scoreline of 11:13 Lithuanians were forced to do an eco round and it seemed like this is going to be the end of FiGURE05 in this game if ayned do not slip up. But, they did and eimaNt went on a killing spree without even having an armor! This play broke ayned’s mentality and while they tried to fight it, the regulation time ended with a score of 15:15.

In the overtime, however, ayned regained their composure and what seemed like a broken team a few rounds before, looked like championship winning one now. Estonians went on to win four rounds in a row (15:19) on the back of everyone showing up, especially critu who somehow managed to survive with his AWP on A site once the Lithuanian execute came.
