AUTOCLUTCH vs NotLikeThis

Result: 16:14 on de_cache

The Estonian-Lithuanian battle started off with NotLikeThis winning the knife rounds and making a somewhat surprising choice of starting on CT side of cache as the map is seemingly more T sided.

Once teams got into the first pistol round AUTOCLUTCH fully took the advantage of starting on T side as their B rush proved to be unstoppable one leading to follow-up victories in the anti-eco rounds (3:0). Once the first gun round came it seemed like NotLikeThis have it all figured out as they got the first two opening kills, but the turn around from DoisTa was sight to behold as he single-handedly won the round for Estonians (4:0)!

AUTOCLUTCH kept going with winning two more rounds (6:0) before Lithuanians finally took their first round after punishing Estonians with an A site gamble stack with pistols (6:1). NotLikeThis managed to win three more consecutive rounds afterwards including a huge shutdown on B site from Dreamas with his AWP (6:4). The latter end of the half saw AUTOCLUTCH taking back three rounds (9:4), while kAliNkA and fAnet winning a scrappy buy with one-awp earned them the remaining two (9:6)

When teams switched sides, it was AUTOCLUTCH who kept up the ballsy plays as they played really aggressively all around the map earning themselves five rounds in a row (14:6) including a massive three kill B site take shutdown by DoisTa! At that point Estonians started to relax a bit and NotLikeThis abused that as they began their comeback. Round after round went Lithuanian’s way with kAliNkA’s AWP once again doing most of the work!

NotLikeThis kept going until at the scoreline of 14:11 AUTOCLUTCH lastly answered back with a round (15:11), but were instantly reset afterwards with Lithuanians taking three more rounds as AUTOCLUTCH were forced to eco. In the very last round of regulation time PhilEba lead Estonians to a hard-fought 16:14 victory with getting three kills with the AWP!

ayned vs SkinLordz

Gametime: 6th of September, 21:00
Result: 15:19 on de_mirage

MVP: tul1p - 36 kills, 24 deaths, 105 ADR

The final game of week 4 was a blunder to say the least! As good as the game started for ayned as they won the knife round getting CT side and taking the pistol (1:0), it all fell apart right after as SkinLordz decided to force up with AK’s in the second round taking that round and four more (1:5). At that point ayned finally caught up to SkinLordz’s style of play and started to punish them for it with not only good teamwork in play, but also - individual plays as showcased by tul1p in the 8th round!

Estonians went on to boast a massive nine consecutive round come-back as they finished off the half with a comfortable 10:5 score in the end. In the second pistol round tul1p was once again the guy who came up big with getting four kills eventually losing the last 1v1 battle to prelideN who snatched the round for Latvians instead (10:6).

Game continued with ayned surprising SkinLordz on their force buy round with a pop rush towards B as 3v3 situation ended up with swicher and Abyssal cleaning up the Latvian side thus taking that and two more rounds back in their favor (13:6) containing another swicher highlight while Veneficus was casting the round in a calm English accent!

At that time SkinLordz woke up as they started to mount a come-back of their own taking eight of the next nine rounds making it a even 14:14 game. On 29th round swicher with a perfect timing to push in jungle earned his team match point, while on the 30th prelideN came up big when defending A site to force overtime (15:15).

As the regulation time was over, SkinLordz seemingly understood that it’s time to stop playing around as it’s time to finish Estonians off! And finish off them they did as Latvians took four rounds in a row (15:19) including an impressive B site AWP retake from CaptaiN!

“The final match of week 4 turned out to be a true brawl between a team that is able to both dominate and throw rounds in the form of SkinLordz, and a team that can very quickly gain significant grounds in the amount of rounds gained, but then unable to close out. That is of course ayned. Considering it was mirage I felt like this should’ve been a solid victory for SkinLordz, but they once again showed that if things don’t go their way early on they will struggle big time! The game was a drag as only in the first overtime SkinLordz were finally able to find the rounds necessary to close it out. Definitely a lot to learn here for both of the teams here as the raw talent of SkinLordz prevailed once again and only time will tell how far they can go relying on it alone!”
