SACRAMENTO case

On Friday, 27th of September, at 21:00 Baltic time, a league game between MAKONGA and SACRAMENTO took place. The match ended with a result of 2-0 in favor of SACRAMENTO.

However, after the series had ended, MAKONGA players approached the CS:GO head admin with evidence of SACRAMENTO’s player Eriks "kryzstal" Strazdins having a standing FACEIT platform ban for cheats.

The Evidence:

  1. FACEIT account banned for cheating

  2. Steam account linked to the FACEIT account

  3. An older demo from a local LAN event, where this player participated, confirms that this indeed is his account.

Accordingly, after looking through the evidence, the CS:GO head admin has made the following rulings:

  1. The game series result between MAKONGA and SACRAMENTO is nullified with MAKONGA receiving a technical victory in the series as SACRAMENTO was playing with a player who has been banned for cheats on FACEIT, with the ban still being active.

  2. The player in question, Eriks "kryzstal" Strazdins, is removed from SACRAMENTO  and banned from all BESL Pro competitions for as long as this FACEIT ban is active.

  3. SACRAMENTO can continue playing in the current season of the league by adding a new player to the roster.

Swiss round 2 matches

After the first set of matches, teams have now been separated into two different categories:

  1. Teams that won their opening duel (Win-Loss record 1-0)

  2. Teams that lost their opening duel (Win-Loss record 0-1)

Additionally, within these two categories, all teams also keep their initial round one Pool labels of:

  1. Teams that finished the last season in 1st-8th place

  2. Teams that finished the last season in 9th-11th place + teams from qualifiers

Here’s how it looks right now:

Game broadcasts

As previously announced, this season we’ve opted to expand our broadcast reach to cater all three Baltic state countries, so instead of you having one single broadcast in English, this season we’re bringing you multiple streams with each of them happening in one of the Baltic state country languages - Latvian, Lithuanian and Estonian!

Here’s how it works:

  • Our original broadcast crew that operates in Riga is going to transition from English to Latvian bringing you one best-of-three game series every Saturday at 16:00 Baltic time. These broadcasts are going to be streamed on BESL Pro YouTube channel and are going to feature three casters from Latvia - Emvy, S1D, and Gekons.

  • On the other hand, both Estonian and Lithuanian broadcasts are not going to follow a set schedule, but are rather going to pick-up games during the week based on caster availability. These broadcasts are going to be streamed on BESL Pro Estonia Twitch and on BESL Pro Lithuania Twitch channels respectively. The casters who are going to bring you the action are sux3ss from Estonia and freemaN from Lithuania.

All three broadcasts will prioritize featuring teams from their respective countries.

Latvian match of the week

The first game series that has now been set in stone for the Latvian broadcast team to be featured on Saturday, 5th of October, at 16:00 Baltic time is:

wolsung vs 1337HUANIA

Information about the games that are going to be featured on Lithuanian and Estonian broadcasts is going to be posted on our social media channels.

BESL Pro Season 4 is a seven-week competition between the sixteen best Baltic state CS:GO teams for their share of the €9,000 prize pool and the right to call themselves the best in Baltic states.

The two best teams from the online part of the competition are going to meet each other in an epic best-of-five grand final on the 23rd of November in Saku Suurhall at HyperTown Tallinn 2019. Visit hypertown.pro for more info about the festival and tickets.
