Domino Gaming vs SACRAMENTO to be re-played

On Saturday, 2nd of November, at 16:00 Baltic time, Domino Gaming and SACRAMENTO met each other in the BESL Pro Season 4 quarter-finals. The match ended with a result of 2-1 in favor of SACRAMENTO.

After the game series had ended, a protest was filed against one of the SACRAMENTO’s players (Woro2k) about him possibly cheating during the game and having a VAC banned account linked to his name.

A lengthy investigation was conducted by the CS:GO head admin (together with players from various other BESL Pro teams) in order to look into player’s history and in-game footage of him playing the game. After days of searching and inspecting the foundings, here are the results.

The Evidence:

  1. A suspicious clip from the Domino Gaming vs SACRAMENTO game where the player in question (Woro2k) is seen holding an angle and shooting a wall at the exact same time when an opponent is in his crosshair right behind the wall he is looking at.

  2. A suspicious clip from the Domino Gaming vs SACRAMENTO game where the player in question (Woro2k) is seen aiming at the wall between two angles (short pipe and underpass doors) for a good amount of time without a valid explanation leading us to believe that he is possibly trying to get information about potential players in underpass by having vision through walls.

  3. A steam account that has a VAC ban on it and is linked to a CEVO profile (player: Woro_CS) and StarLadder profile with his name on them both. The player himself (Woro2k) has not denied the account belonging to him in the past but states that it was hacked a long time ago. The player (Woro2k) has provided evidence of FACEIT platform admins clearing his name in regards to this account but is yet to provide a similar set of proof from CS:GO game publishers (VALVE) themselves. As of right now, FACEIT has re-opened the investigation on the said player and it is yet to be seen what the new verdict is.

The Verdict:

After looking through the evidence, the CS:GO head admin has made the following rulings:

  1. The player in question (Woro2k) is no longer allowed to participate in BESL Pro competitions until he provides evidence from CS:GO game publishers (VALVE) confirming the fact that this account was indeed hacked and the VAC ban on it does not belong to him.

  2. The initial game series result between Domino Gaming and SACRAMENTO is nullified and both teams have displayed great sportsmanship by agreeing to re-play the said game series on Friday, 8th of November, at 18:00 Baltic time.

Additionally, it has to be noted that SACRAMENTO themselves made the decision to remove Woro2k from their team as soon as evidence of shady nature started to surface. SACRAMENTO players stated that they were not aware of his past and were ready to co-operate with the league’s administration in order to help the investigation.
