1. INTRODUCTION

When you use the www.besl.pro website, hereinafter “the Website”, we do not collect your personal data. However, if you wish to register for participation in the Baltic eSports League BESL.PRO, hereinafter “BESL.PRO”, you must share your personal data with us. That includes the information you or your team manager enters when registering.

We only collect basic personal data about you and your teammates, which does not include any special types of information or location based information. This does however include your full name, nickname, and e-mail. By entering your data in the Website, you consent to collection and processing of your personal data. This privacy policy further explains who we are, why and how we use your personal data.

The Website belongs to a limited liability company “GOEXANIMO”, registration number in Republic of Latvia: 40103942284, legal address: Riga, Garā Street 16 – 22, LV-1055, hereinafter the “Representative”, who is a representative of a limited liability company “Lattelecom”, registration number in Republic of Latvia: 40003052786, legal address: Riga, Dzirnavu Street 105, LV-1011, hereinafter the “Controller”.

 

3. WHY WE NEED YOUR DATA

Collection of your personal data is a contractual requirement between the Representative and the Controller in order to organize an online Counter‑Strike: Global Offensive league, which is the only gaming league in the Baltic region that runs throughout all year. It consists of 3 seasons each having its unique EXPO event that is held in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia separately.

When registering for BESL.PRO you give your permission to the Representative to collect and process your personal data for the above mentioned purpose. Your permission is the Representative’s legal basis for processing your personal data. The Representative does not sell any information collected from you to outside companies or any other third parties.

We may use your personal data to provide you with information, special offers or services through BESL.PRO. We may use the data to communicate with you, such as to update you on new rules, regulations, match information, etc. or, for example, to notify you that you have won a contest.

We also may use your personal data to catalog and record each individual player of BESL.PRO into a weekly/monthly/yearly listing of participants and their performances during the league. For the purposes mentioned in this paragraph, we may use your personal data on our social media channels, such as our Facebook page or our Twitter account. We do not use automated decision making in connection with your personal data on our Website.

We will disclose your personal data to third parties without your consent to governmental institutions, however only if it is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject or to protect your vital interests. In case we disclose your information for the previous reason, we will notify you within a reasonable period of time.

 

4. HOW LONG WILL WE KEEP YOUR DATA AND YOUR RIGHT

We will keep your data for an undetermined period of time, however, no longer than the duration of the BESL.PRO project. At any point you have the right to request from us to access, rectify and/or delete your personal data you have previously provided to us.

If at any point you believe that the Representative does not comply with the laws and regulations of privacy of data subjects of the EU, you can raise a complaint with the Data State Inspectorate (http://www.dvi.gov.lv/en/). You can also withdraw your permission to collect or process your personal data.

If we will further process your personal data for a purpose other than successfully organizing BESL.PRO, we will provide you with information on why and how we will use your data prior to that further processing.

 

5. WHERE WILL WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Your personal data that we process is processed by the Representative’s staff in Latvia, Lithuania or Estonia, however for the purposes of IT hosting and maintenance, this information is located on servers within the European Union. No third parties have access to your personal data unless the law allows them to do so.

 

We will keep your data for an undetermined period of time, however, no longer than the duration of the BESL.PRO project. At any point you have the right to request from us to access, rectify and/or delete your personal data you have previously provided to us. You also have the right to restrict of processing any of your data. We have a strict Data Protection regime in place to oversee the effective and secure processing of your personal data.
